Dr. Raymond Park received his bachelor in science from University of Wisconsin – Madison. After having a great midwest college experience, Dr. Park then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious, ivy league Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. It was there that he discovered his passion caring for children while volunteering at ‘Give Kids a Smile’ and ‘Head Start Daycare Program’. It provided a chance for him to interact with children who suffered from poor oral health and allowed him to realize the importance of early oral health intervention. Dr. Park became a true believer in educating families and ensuring children have a positive dental experience throughout their early years and beyond.
Dr. Park pursued and completed an additional two years of Pediatric Dentistry specialty training at the University of Rochester – the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where he treated a wide range of pediatric patients including those that were medically compromised.
Dr. Park has worked in private practice for several years before he decided to open Emerald Pediatric Dentistry with his Columbia University dental school classmate, Dr. Minh Dau.
In his free time, Dr. Park enjoys going to the Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium with his lovely wife and 1-year-old daughter Chloe. He is also avid sports fan of New York Giants and, of course, his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin (GO GIANTS and BADGERS!). But don’t be afraid to ask him if he likes the Seattle Seahawks!
