I had an appointment today at 12:30pm for two boys. I got there around 12:15pm, however, the clinic was empty and there’s a sign hanging on the front door saying they will be back at 1pm. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and knocked on their door just incase the sign was a mistake, but to no avail. There was another family that also had the same schedule. I went to my car to try calling and at this time my two boys is getting fuzzy.. Mind you I received a reminder 2 hours prior.
When I was checking in, I asked the front desk girl what’s happening, can’t you hear that I was knocking the door. She said ”I didn’t hear that, I heard the phone rang, but I was having lunch in the back.”
Ya I know it’s your lunch time, but if your office can’t fulfill my appointment was scheduled at 12:30pm, then professionally you should not schedule your patient during those time. Furthermore putting up you-will-be-back at 1pm sign when there is a 12:30pm appoints is simply unacceptable. A simple apology for the confusion could have suffice but was never uttered through out the entire visit.
My son has anxieties about dentists and new places, but Emerald Pediatric Dentistry staff were amazing! He really liked everyone and they were all very friendly, helpful, and nice. You won't be disappointed!
The whole staff was great with my 3 year old, making her feel comfortable and creating a pleasant, fun atmosphere.
